A huge thank you to the many groups that will be assisting the festival by providing activities at the festival this year. We hope that families will enjoy all that they have provided to our community.
AVID, Library and Dia group will also be providing a flower making art project onsite with the Aztec history, origin and significance of the Cempazuchitl.
Adelante Bookmobile will be onsite to find about activities that are held at the Oceanside Public Libraries, with the 2 City bookmobiles and all about literacy and reading programs as well as how to get your favorite book
Studio ACE will be onsite for an arts and craft activity making masks, coloring and providing information about art projects and education that provide to many areas around North County.
North County Lifeline - Club Crown Heights will be onsite to inform festival attendies about their social service agency that offers an array of services that include, but are not limited to: counseling for children, youth and families. Additionally, we offer case management, basic needs support & financial literacy for low-income households. Other services include parenting, anger management and domestic violence intervention classes.
In addition, Local Artist Elvis will be selling some of his pieces in order to donate the funds to the Club Crown Heights after school program. The after-school programs offers tutoring and pro-social activities for the youth.
Boys and Girls Club Oceanside (BGCO) will be onsite to find about activities that are held at the BGCO, with 5 club locations in Oceanside. Great time to find out what year round events are happening in Oceanside and also how you can get your family enrolled or involved.
Home Depot will be onsite providing 4-inch tiles to draw and color your own sugar skulls on. What a great time to find out more about their MONTHLY Kids Clinics for you and your family!
